With the widespread development of technology, matched by the complexity of our socioeconomic environment, Computer and Information Technology (CIT) have today become common in every sphere of life, be it business, administration, research, or even education. The automation of the workplace, the hallmark of an information-based society has now made computer literacy a must for almost every individual. CIT have simply revolutionized every system of activity nationally as well as internationally. Computers have not only entered the household but also have invaded the sphere of education. In this age of technological advancements, scientific discoveries and multimedia, computer literacy has become a must for every individual irrespective of age. Proper computer education is required in order to become competitive in the work field and make a distinct mark in one’s career. In fact almost all frontline organizations, both in business and government expect a fairly high standard of hands - on computer skills from their employees. Given the paucity of adequate computer facilities, career prospectus for the general well-trained and experienced computer professionals remains tremendous. Keeping this factor in view it was decided by Mr. G. J. Banday (The Founder of this Institute) to establish a computer institute for imparting quality-training courses which could be recognized by various government agencies especially the Department of Electronics (DOE) and/or AICTE and/or University Grants commission (UGC) and/or Department of Education Ministry of Human Resources Development. NICT thus got established and started its activities from 1997. Initially NICT imparted only Computer Trainings and later expanded its educational services and is now imparting IT Education in latest disciplines of Information Technology and has got recognition from various agencies. From year 2000, NICT actively started to provide IT Solutions in form of Custom Application Development, however today NICT is undertaking IT Project from diverse fields. Be it Application Development, Website Development, E-Commerce Solution, Network Consultation, or Database Service, NICT will present timely customer satisfaction at reasonable rates.
